The Center for
Mediation, Peace and the Resolution of Conflict
(CEMPROC) is a new nonprofit organization based in Cumming, GA,
USA, and Quito, Ecuador with the ultimate purpose of reducing conflict in Latin America.
It was founded in 2003 with startup funding from a generous
individual and corporate benefactor. It has offered training courses
and consulting for impoverished neighborhoods in the Quito area,

CEMPROC's leadership is comprised of the Executive Director, the Director for Ecuador, and two Boards of Directors--the Board for CEMPROC Ecuador, based in Quito, Ecuador, and the Board of directors for CEMPROC--International, based in the United States:
Jeff Pugh (click for bio or for full resume), is the founder and Executive Director of CEMPROC.
Dr. Diana Palacios (click for bio) is the Director for Ecuador, in charge of la Fundacion Estudio, Mediacion, Paz, y Resolucion de Conflictos (CEMPROC), based in Quito.
CEMPROC is governed by its International Board of Directors, based in the United States. This board is comprised of President Chuck Pugh, Treasurer Sam Bagwell, Secretary Scott Hitch, Eduardo Stevens, Kathy Bryson, and Rev. John Cromartie.

Executive Director Jeff Pugh is also the President of the CEMPROC Ecuador board. Other members of this board include Vice-President Roberto Contreras, Treasurer Jack Rodriguez, Secretary Diana Palacios, and Board Member Monica de Contreras.
