International Day of Peace Art Contest Gallery
CEMPROC sponsored a children's art contest to celebrate the International Day of Peace on September 21, 2007, which is recognized by the United Nations and is celebrated in more than 200 countries around the world. Entries in two categories (pre-K and school age) were judged by a panel of distinguished judges, which included President of the CEMPROC Board of Directors Chuck Pugh, Forsyth County School Superintendent Paula Gault, and Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton. First, second, and third place winners were selected in each category, and the attendees of the CEMPROC Taste of Latin America dinner selected a 'People's Choice' winner.
